Day 1- Starting the Long Path of Creation.

Well with this post, Im goign to keep it light and not really give you a background on myself nor the game project really.. Its closing in on 2am and I'm tired. And I have reserved the right to be brief. I'm Lead Artist for CCGames, and teaming with CigarDev on a New DeathMatch-based FPS. CigarDEV is Design/Scripting.. he has the curse of the code monkey.. which im greatly happy that i dont really need to touch code.. yuk! So far everything is going well today... lots of headway on this project.. Cigar has the engine up and running on his laptop..and is starting to layout first level of the arena.. I have received the EntityBank of Objects and Models that im going to be retexturing and tooling with.. Im learning really as a go along with all this.. I havent worked all too much with 3d modeling.. My expertise is in 2d art.. 3d art and animation is a new feat for me.. and im checking on quite fast. With luck there are great plugins offered for adobe photoshop for me to easily retexture files in the program and save with a breeze.. will be easy for me.. cuase i do all my work in Photoshop. I need to ace getting retexturing down.. and next feat is editing segements for walls,floors, and etc... Hopefully we are going to keep motivated and quickly achieve our goals... with a finished working product.. Cheers!
